Gary Finch's experience was acquired through 8 years of business management experience and 18 years of consulting work. His initial experience in executive compensation was acquired at two of the world's largest compensation consulting firms - William M Mercer and Hewitt Associates.

3XCD was the first Canadian company, and only independent financial services firm, focused exclusively on board compensation governance, performance compensation design, and the management and mitigation of board compensation risk. 3XCD reviews compensation design, comparative corporate performance, and issues pertaining to process and design in board-based compensation risk - all from an integrated financial platform.

3XCD's unique approach allowed it to grow quickly. 3XCD currently advises in a number of industry sectors: Banking, Construction, Food Manufacturing, Information Technology, Mining, Pharmaceutical, Energy, Real Estate, Retail, Telecommunications and Transportation. The financial strength and governance approach of 3XCD also allows it to advise institutional investors on buy/sell arrangements involving Board governance.

3XCD was founded in 2002 and commenced operations in 2004. 3XCD currently delivers board based executive compensation assessment globally, and has clients in Australasia, Canada, Europe, South Africa, United Kingdom, and USA.

Gary graduated with a distinction and double major in Chemistry and Physics at Edith Cowan University, and a Masters in Business Administration from Schulich, at York University.
